What to Do When Corporate Speak Doesn’t Match Corporate Culture

From my time in higher education over the past sixteen years, I actually have located very few academic institutions that have a corporate way of life which fits the company communicate, or phrases written and posted by its leaders. When it involves enrollment and retention numbers, there’s often one primary challenge, and it isn’t always the tradition of the organization. Why else could an organization determine to value profit over employees, and layoff high-appearing personnel, particularly people who are willing to work hard?

Yet I find it superb whilst leaders tout how valuable their company or group is, after which allow the real culture of the firm to deteriorate into an area nobody absolutely enjoys running at, and only remains at due to monetary want. This results in a question then of what does a person do after they find themselves in a role of working for a corporation wherein the tradition is a mismatch to the company talk?
